Used to be the drink for the older gent when I was growing up but I've noticed times are changing and it's becoming big eth the ladies and now the younger gents.

yes, you are right.

Only really Malt though. Blends not so much.

In parrallel, imported whiskies (from America and Japan) have found a younger audience.
