Flat-Bottomed Woks
Discussion
Tefal, not completely round inside, but I have not noticed any real difference from using wok that is round inside. The preference range work on induction hobs

Ken Hom's woks tend to be flat bottomed. I've had mine years and it's still going strong. On offer at the moment in Debenhams for 24 quid. Bargain
What he said! For all the Cliche of Ken Hom, the woks are very good and heavier than the Chinatown ones. They do the job but do tend to be a little wobbly when you use them.

I had a Ken Hom wok. I found the metal hanging hook on the end of the wooden handle would heat up and be uncomfortable to use.we have one of the Tefal ones, don't use it on an induction hob but we have a gas hob with one of the four burners being those massive output wok burner doobry wossnames.
Doobry wossname is a technical term of course, but last night cooked chicken, spring onion and cashew nuts as a quick and easy supper dish. Not very adventurous but, as stated, quick, cheap, easy.
The wok itself is a fine solid piece of kit, reasonably heavy gauge. Non stick properties extremely durable.

We've got one of those Doobry wossname gas burners too and use an Anolon flat bottomed wok. The reason is we don't have a wok cradle for the burners which works with a round bottomed one.I use a SKK heavy saute pan on our induction hob - works just fine for stir fry, and as a bonus, it's the most versatile pan I have. Worth considering.
