A few days ago I was given some sausages to try by a mate of mine who works in a butchers. After trying them last night I have to say that they were superb, far better than a lot of butchers sausages I've tried in the past. So I said this to him last night in the pub and he told me that he makes his own and that he can do any flavour I liked. Now this started me thinking, what flavours would be good as a 'bespoke' sausage? Y'know, something different to the norm. I came up with pork, leek and jalapeno but I want to put it to the PH massive as to what else would be good, whatdaya think people?

What we need is different sausages for different meals, a breakfast sausage would be different to a dinner time sausage...

He does one of these with gammon, bacon and black pudding in. Needless to say these are on my next order.

Pub near me only serves sausages. Must be 25 different types. You then choose your type of mash potato. 10 types of that. And then your gravy from a selection of 10 or so. And whatever veg of your choice.

It's absolutely cracking!

They've got awards from CAMRA for their beer aswell.

I spend a lot of time there...

Bingo! Beef sausage with lumps of stilton in so when you cut it the melted cheese oozes out......

I always thought that would be a great idea for a fast food joint. Simple, cheap, tasty and properly British. Obviously I'm no where near as original as I thought......

Minted lamb sausages, don't see enough lamb sausages.

Pork of a fairly fatty nature, coarsely minced, with salt, pepper, a little rusk and a sprinkling of water.

No need for any other faffing
