Not used Just-Eat for a while but more recently I've developed a firm favourite in a local kebab place.

Food is great, service good.

I pay using my debit card. So say the order is £20, what do I tip? £5?

I feel like they need rewarding.

Are you seriously suggesting you should tip 25%
or is math not your strong point? smile

Tip = 10%, no more unless everything is exceptional.

Every single time they've delivered it has been exceptional.

I've also neglected to tip the last couple of times due to not having cash in the house and paying on my card.

Same delivery guy.

Anyway, it's delivered, I have pics, and I gave him £3.

More to follow on takeaway thread tongue out

FFS. It's a takeaway. Give the driver a quid. 25% lol.

He didn't cook it or serve it to you on a plate. He only handed you a carrier bag! A quid is fine in most cases (or up to £2 maximum - e.g. if you've spent £13.60, then give him a nice round £15 and tell him to keep the change).

OK thanks guys, point taken.

I think this was a special case given my lack of tip last couple of times.

Like what? Plate it? Light candles?
Nah, just pulling you pal. I always give the driver a quid or two. For some reason the delivery guys just seem very likeable. They always have a smile which is never a bad thing. 25% would give then a far bigger smile though......
