How much is Fish & Chips where you are?

Seems to be going up and up - Cod & Chips these days? Paid £4.40 + £1.50 last night, so £5.90 in total. Is this about normal now? This is in Bedfordshire, guess the Northerners will come up with £1.90 or summit!

Anything from £6 to £15 which is criminal considering that these prices are for places within 100 metres of a major fish market and the £15 is owned by one of the biggest fish processors in the South Devon area.
