Rusks...as an adult

I've always been a fan of the Farley's Rusk, long past childhood. I blame my parents as they ate them too so it was inevitable I would follow. I don't have them every day, nor every month, but from time to time I'll indulge and last night I picked some up.

I popped this rubbish photo on Facebook this morning and more people than I thought seemed to still like them too.



How about here on PH, any Rusk fans? Or maybe just 'kids' food in general.

Every so often I'll buy a box! I just eat them straight out the packet. I've taken them to work with my packed lunch before aswell (to the amusement of the people I work with)

It's a biscuit at the end of the day, just as long as your not sucking on them all is good.

I love Rusks I get myself a packet of them probably once ever couple of months.

I Eat them dry straight out of the packet...or dunk them in hot milk.

It does say "All ages" on the box, I'll stick with the chocolate Hob Nobs though thanks, having sampled a variety of the stuff I'm feeding my 6-month old at the moment I'm in no rush to go back to basics.

I still like them, my wife thought it was odd when I started eating them when we tried to get the youngest to eat them and she wouldn't.

My sister still buys Rusks (she's weird); nicked one a few years ago and it didn't taste anywhere near as nice as I remembered.

I also buy a packet every now and then, my siblings seem to enjoy eating them as well. Awesome in a bit of warm milk.

Whilst KCB cake rusks are damn good (been eating at least 2 a day with my brew for well over 10 years now) they are not as awesome as Farleys rusks.
