Off to Paris on fri for the start of our honeymoon, can someone recommend a good restaurant for snails. I've been looking at l escargot monreile but I've been reading that there are good restaurants off the tourist route that do just as good food for less.
Thanks
Ps, recommendations for Madrid, Pau, Valencia, Millau and Girons also welcome

I can't help you with snails, but I can heartily recommend La Belle Villoise for a Sunday brunch. It's tucked out of the way but it's incredible and well worth the trip. You will need to book.

Food there is good, but it's always been ridiculously busy when I've been.

Two of the best restaurants I've eaten in, in Paris:
Bistrot du Sommellier ,which is off one of the streets from Arc de Triomphe

and
L'Ilot Vache

Vixpy, when me and the wife got engaged we went to a lovely little restaurant called L'Jardin D'Ivy on Rue Mouffetard.
The food was divine for the price.
