Ive used two King Keg top taps for the last few years with no issues at all, but in the last 3 weeks BOTH my kegs have developed splits and leaked beer every where.
Google seems to suggest this is not an unusual thing to do, so Ive decided that I will not replace them.
Im now looking seriuosly at Cornies - anyone on here use them ?
Biggest issue seems to be regular economical supply of C02 from what I can gather.
I have emailed Norman, who appears to be the go to guy for these second hand.

I have 2 cornys and a small gas bottle.
They are the best way forward IMHO
Get friendly with the local pub. He will be able to get you gas.
I get mine from a local hotel. I gave them a deposit up front for good measure, and have a bottle. When it is empty, I take it back and they get it re-filled. I just pay the refill.
If you use it correctly though, it should last a while.
Whilst Norman does sell gas bottles, I would stay clear. They are recycles fire extinguishers. ( Google it )
Otherwise, if you can get a bottle, a local small brewery would fill it. Our local ( Donnington ) fill them, and lots get them filled for welding.
