Well, that's me sorted for office snacking! Had these delivered yesterday from Amazon. Bargain, 2kg for just over £11!

Out of stock now though.
I tried one... just one. And it just about blew my head off. I soon learned that the ones that have more light green colour are stronger than the others! Very tasty snack though, once you get used to them. Very popular in the office as well!

I know, awesome aren't they?
I started off with Wasabi Peanuts, but they're quite calorific and fatty, if you eat lots of them, as I was.
Then I found these. All the joy of spicy Wasabi crunchiness - without the calories! Excellent!
I've distributed Wasabi peas to my Girlfriend, and mates - and universally, all of them have spat them out with disgust after the first few chews. They all reckon they're disgusting and that I am mental for liking them.
Well, both me and you know how great they are, eh? f
k everyone else!

Perfect with an ice cold asahi.
we had a greedy 12 year old nephew stay with us recently, always snacking & grabbing - "I want that, let me have it..". Had some crisps on the work surface & the little porky hand shot out & snaffled them all before anyone else had any. Not best pleased by the lack of manners.
So, opened a bag of wasabi peas left them open, once again the hand shot out like a lizards tongue. "You won't like them" I said, "yes I will, what do you know" & a handful was grabbed & stuffed in the ever open mouth..
On cue the eye's widened & a strange bleating noise came from him followed by a little fountain of bits of peas - "wahhh - it hurts!!". One of the highlights of the visit for me, that'll learn him.

Haha, I had a similar experience with a nephew of mine. I still maintain that the rumours I switched apple juice for whiskey are untrue though. Don't know how to break this to you, but Wasabi Peas are pretty massively calorific...
