Pure Orange Juice? Without Sugar etc added.From Supermarket

Can you get a pure orange juice which is equivelant to what you would do with a juicer already bottled?
I know the boxed ones from asda are artificial.

but is their any brands that are just pure juice?
I.e Innocent or Copella?

My understanding (may be that I've been taken in by the marketing guff) is that 'Innocent' is exactly what you're after. They claim they squeeze the juice into a bottle and pasteurise it. And that's it apparently.

Looking at the title of this post, if you need to watch your sugar intake, you need to be aware that even completely natural orange juice can contain surprisingly high amounts of sugar.

Squeezing your own is not that much of a chore. Oranges, that is.

i buy the fresh supermarket stuff - they have a range of 'not from concentrate' stuff which is a little cheaper than tropicana

It's available at Garsons Farm in Esher. By god it's good, I sometimes go there just to get some and go home again. So much nicer than 'from concentrate' stuff.

Asda do a range of squeezed only juices, I really love the Pineapple and they usually have it on offer, 3 for £4 I think. it's lovely but it's got so much natural sugar it's not particularly healthy!

This is an example of the Asda stuff, as I said, on 3 for £4 and you get a litre bottle. I'm sure other supermarkets do similar stuff. My Ex likes the Tropicana Orange and Lime fusion flavour.

OP, anything labelled as 'freshly squeezed'.

Waitrose stock this, as do M&S.

Personally I think both use the cheapest, most sour oranges that would never pass muster sold whole, therefore they get juiced.

Buy a decent juicer, and good-quality oranges in season to feed it with. You won't look back.
