Sunny Saturday afternoon on the patio with some Desperados birra.

We have been tasting/testing a few bottled beers this afternoon, and I think the Desperados is our new favourite along with Becks Vier.

Bathams bitter later.

Anyone else a fan?

Bought some of the chilli version in France on a recommendation recently - really disappointed!

Currently drinking 1664 Gold (6.1%) - lovely!

its horrid....beer with artificial lime, sugar and tequila flavouring? come on...

the only way to make it even drinkable is two drops of tabasco in the top. the chili and vinegar cuts the nasty sweetness.

I like one from time to time but can't drink many at once. One of the first times I met the inlaws was at a Mexican restaurant where I made this mistake of ordering one as my first drink, people kept buying me them all night.

If you want some more suggestions for bottled lager: Dos Equis, Estrella, Mahou, Peroni Gran Reserva, Brewdog 77, Cusquena.

Maximum of 2 on a hot day; anymore is sickly but in isolation they're very refreshing/satisfying.

Saturday was first taste of Desperados for me (friends recommendation) and I admit I liked a couple but not many more.

Bathams on the other hand = lovely stuff.

PS Bargain Booze in Wall Heath (on the A449) sell bottled Bathams.

Sol with a slice of lime was my lager of choice this weekend. Goes down a treat!

Discovered Animee this weekend, comes in three flavours, rose, lemon and clear filtered.

Might be a bit sweet for some tastes but I found it very light and very refreshing.

never been so sick in my life, but for a month or so period that was my drink of choice, just thinking about it actually makes me close to gagging.

Really not a fan of Desperados, at all. Just a bit sickly.

Dont worry treacle, as long you liked them we wont judge you wink did you wear a nice summer dress whilst sipping it through a straw wink

As for desperados, did it not at one point include tequila opposed to tequila essence?

I did indeed but I won't be wearing the shoes again, given me terrible blisters, don't know how women do high heels.
