I know what you mean. It's like crack it's so addictive. AFAIK you can't buy it but there is a recipe here:

you can buy it, a waitress in blue water was telling me, after asking if i could buy any, that someone else bought some, but as the can only sell it in the small pot sized portions, that the bag that they have it comes to about 50 quid.

but i wouldn't recommend that.

I love the JD sauce....particularly when served with the ribs and shrimp. Oh and the bacon cheese burger with JD sauce.

MissB just rang, she's doing me a homemade 1/2lb patty with cheese and bacon tonight biggrin
JD Sauce will be all over the burger and bacon.

Is this somehow different to the JD sauce they sell in the supermarkets now? I'd imagine you could make a really nice glazing agent out of that if you reduced it down with some sugar.

I've no idea.....have not tried the Supermarket versions of JD sauce.

The sauce in TGI is not the same as the stuff in supermarkets and Costco.

You can't buy the TGI version sadly.

Cant be too hard to figure out a home-made subsitute, surely?

Barbecue sauce isnt rocket science, its sweet, sour, and spices...in this case with some JD too.

So it will have some fruit (usually apple juice), some sour (white vinegar), a bit of sugar or honey, some JD, and some spices?
