Anybody got a Handpresso? I'm considering this http://www.handpresso.co.uk/products/handpresso-wi...
How does it work out? Is it a ballache to keep clean etc? We have Nespresso at home and I'm happy with the quality but it's not at all portable, it would be good to have decent coffee when travelling etc.
Also, any suggestions on ESE pods?

Honest answer? Forget it.
Got bought one last year and it hasn't been out since the first couple of goes and a trip to Finland in February.
1. It is messy, might have to have a go with a pad to see if this solves that issue.
2. It is fiddly, even if you could use a pad.
3. You have to pre heat the water holder part or else it is too cold.
4. One of the parts you hold when pumping is the water holder...
5. It will produce at maximum capacity a cup of espresso about 1/2 the size of a 'shop' single.
6. By the time you have cleaned it out, re primed, pumped and poured you first 1/2 cup is cold.
7. Lots of other little reasons that I haven't time to type out.
All in all a great idea, but a bit of a let down, an expensive one at that!

Thanks all, sounds like it's not worth bothering with.
I'm not constrained by lack of AC power so could hack a small mains powered machine. I'm just drawing blanks at the moment.
Nespresso do carry-cases but they're expensive and don't seem very well designed (nowhere to stash pods etc).
