Chester for lunch?

Got a date next week....

Only ever been to the Bear and Hickorys for lunch, so i'm looking for suggestions.

Cuisine is totally unimportant but quality is.

I had a first date a little over a year ago in Moules a Go Go up on the rows, very nice food and were getting married in 3 weeks time so it must have been a good date.

Upstairs at the Grill is good although only ever been there on an evening.

Steak is the main thing served but they do other bits.

La Fattoria does great pizza and pasta (its down from the shopping centre) Hickorys is fun (I think) if that's your type of thing (although hardly fine dining)

This is looking good...place looks nice, the menu looks good. Interactive dining.

If you're prepared to head out of the city, try Frogg Manor at Broxton. Chief Frogg John will keep you entertained as well as cook you a superb meal.

Simply has to be the brasserie at the Grosvenor Hotel. Classy without having your shirt removed. Best fish, chips and mushy peas I've ever had
