You can imagine, I'm sure, the frustration I felt only a short while ago when I up-ended the box of Start and only half a bowl came tumbling out!

Without hesitation or fear I topped it up with some Crunchy Nut Cornflakes. My word.....it was excellent and to be fair better than a bowl full of either on its own. They should market such a thing.

I cannot recall having tried this before in all of my 52 years! Perhaps it is a slavish adhearance to the rules of life that has plagued me. In any event it leaves me feeling slightly....um.....devil may care and ready to face whatever the Victoria Line can throw at me in an hour or so!

Are there any other cereal megamixes that are worth a go?

I love Start.

Shame it costs what feels like £100 a box!

Mixing cereals is the best thing... Regular choice for me even have it for dinner sometimes when im in the mood...

My cereal cocktails - ( I find I generally like weetabix as a good base cereal as a lot of cereals are far too sugary so it helps dilute the sweet taste)

Old favorite- Weetabix, cornflakes - warm milk with lots of suger.

Current cereal mix I'm enjoying- Reeses' peanut butter and chocolate cereal, shreddies and Cheerios

Other stuff I regularly have..

Maple pecan crunch , weetabix and cheerios

Suger puffs, Cheerios and shreddies

Rice crispies, cornflakes and weetabix
