These are the three we have shortlisted to spend up to £200 in as a Christmas treat for myself and the wife.

Which would you go for and why?

I went to Clos a couple of years ago - fantastic place. You would need to get a table in the 'conservatory' part. Just been voted Most Romatic restaurant in London...

I'd be inclined to go for Petrus.

If you want a more contemporary/avant garde experience (and you can get a table) try Dabbous. Took my wife there for our wedding anniversary a couple of weeks ago which was great.

We were very impressed with the food and the bill wasn't terrifying either. Service was first rate.

Agreed - we had the Tasting Menu which was fantastic. After going through the 'phone book of a wine list the Sommelier actually talked us in to having a cheaper bottle of vino - was expecting the massive upsale!
