We’re going to see Kevin Bridges in the centre of York on Friday night and could do with some advice on some good places to eat beforehand?

Any ideas/recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

When I went up last year I went to the guy fawkes inn, near the cathedral and would recommend it. Good quality well priced food and good beer. more pub restaurant than fine dining though but that style seems to suit the city better in my opinion.

You will be swimming in and out by the looks of the local news, and every one knows you shouldn't swim and eat, you will get terrible cramps!

Seriously though Saw KB a few weeks back at the Liverpool empire, very good, although many of the scoucers said they couldn't understand him.

Regards Food this place is pretty good:-
