The best places for breakfast in central London are Simpsons in the strand and The Wolseley. Both a bit out of your area though

The Wolsely is one of the the best breakfast places around- it is well to do and pricey though, and will most likely require booking in advance for a weekend.

Bills is really good, decent price and there are a few around London. Modern Pantry also decent.

I have heard Christophers in Covent Garden do a decent brunch.

Will be the trying The Table Cafe tommorow near south bank.
