Quite tempted to try some of their products, but those bloody awful adverts that seem to be on every 3 or 4 minutes on the radio really makes my piss boil.

If it wasn't for these stupid, stupid adverts i would buy one to try, I never seem to see any gaps on the shelves where they are stacked in the supermarkets.

Anybody tried these ? & only 4% or so i'm not so sure i'd like it & they are a tad expensive

Try 'Ginger Grouse', another alternative to Crabbies.

suspect it would be good as a alternative to regular ginger beer in a cocktail or as a mixer.

I agree, I love ginger, but Crabbies doesn't seem to have enough ginger in it!

Has anybody tried their ginger wine?

I love anything with ginger in it, but Crabbies is a bit naff. We used to buy bottles of homemade Gingerbeer from the supermarket in Antigua, lashings of it.

Has anyone made some themselves?

Have only tried the Green Ginger with dark rum. Best cold cure ever.

I'm not a fan of Crabbies, I seem to buy a bottle every Christmas, but it's enough to remind me for the next year or so that I don't like it.

Is that £3.00 for a 500ml?

Dont like Crabbies or any of the Crabbies copies. They just taste like overly sweet sugary piss water without any ginger in for the new wave of teen drinkers.

I tried one and it tasted a bit grim and gave me terrible stomach acid.

I did drink it a lot in the summer but now I have found Old Jamaica Fiery Ginger Beer it makes the alcoholic stuff taste like sugary water.
