what is your guilty pleasure?

im sorry if this has been done before. What is your guilty home alone food pleasure? mine? a fish finger sandwich with ketchup on the cheapest processed white bread. all of the ingredients have to be bought in specially as i would never have them in the house normally. It has to be eaten standing up hunched over the counter.

I'm also a fish finger sandwich connoisseur. But they must actually BE fish fingers. In other words, 100% cod in batter does not make the grade. It's just a small piece of battered fish. Which is NOT a fish finger.

A fish finger qualifies as such only when it meets the following criteria :

1) Fluorescent orange breadcrumbs. Must look as unnatural as possible, full of E-numbers.
2) Indeterminable fish content, which should be mainly grey.brown with hints of white.
3) Must be cheap. Under £1 for 10 fish fingers. Anything more has too much proper fish in it.

Other requirements for the sandwich : Very soft white bread. Butter, slightly salted. A thin spread of tartare sauce. Salt & vinegar.

in both cases the brown sauce has to be the cheap vinegary kind or it doesn't tast as good.

Very occasionally those cheap tinned hot-dogs, in a finger roll with onions, that American mustard in the yellow bottle and ketchup.

Hot dogs with proper sausages are a lot better but sometimes a bit of filth is required.


Those and Bombay Bad Boys, obviously.
