Cheers Dave, went to the Turmeric. I don't claim to know much about Indian's but it was very nice and the service was excellent so thumbs up here (though over four quid for a pint of lager didn't go down so well!!

Good to hear its a good place we have booked here for our Christmas doo although 4 pound a pint doesn't seem so clever

Random question but would people expect the average Indian to be busy on New Years Eve?
You should try the Turmeric Gold place listed above if you want somewhere different. I dont think I am alone in thinking it is nicer than Shimla (better location too)Random question but would people expect the average Indian to be busy on New Years Eve?
