You need to find the weight, as the joints do vary quite a lot.
2 ribs might be 3kg or 4.5 pre-cooked inc bone so it could feed between 4 to 6.
I reckon you need a 5 or 6 kg joint to feed 8 with ease. Usually that would be a 4 rib fore rib
When you carve you remove a fair bit of the total weight when you cut away the ribs & the bone at the base before you're left with the actual joint.
