Freshly Squeezed Lemon/Lime Juice
Discussion
Was wondering, can you buy ready squeezed lemon or lime juice? I've only seen 'real' lemonade and similar in the supermarkets. I was just wondering what they do in cocktail bars when they have bottles of the stuff ready to go. Is it just the case that some poor sod has to spend a few hours squeezing lemon juice?
Some poor sod has to spend ages squeezing the fruit.
I did a cocktail making course at Claridge's and the mixologist there said that squeezing limes at 11am was the first job of the day.
Try one of these:

It really does get all the juice out, and adds a zesty tang from the oils in the skin.
Roll the lime around with your hands on a hard surface to soften it, then cut it in half and place the cut side down into the squeezer, ie. next to the holes.
Happy squeezing.
