Getting bored of Whittards, and can't find much in the supermarkets that's properly nice (Taylors is about the best I've found - their #4 is the default option if there's nothing else to try).

So...what beans does everyone else buy, and where from?

Cheers,

Martin.

I buy mine from hasbean.co.uk and grind at home (although you can get them to do the grinding too). They roast it and send it out very quick so you know it's fresh.

Fantastic coffee thumbup

Wogan coffee online has a great selection, decent price working out about £11-12 a kilo. Fast delivery too.

Cafe Vergnano - not very popular here in the UK but all over the place around Northern Italy especially Turin.

And me, my annual subscription has just finished. Once I have used up the backlog I will take out another.

Smokey Barn and Has Bean for me, online suppliers are way better than anything I've seen in the supermarket. If you're stuck and need some coffee quick though, you can do a lot worse than Illy.

Another vote for Has Bean, I'm on thier subscription, £70/year and they send me a pack of coffee beans every month, different ones every time and they've all tasted great. The BIL is on their weekly subscription and they do a youtube video of tasting notes for each weeks pack biggrin
