Try Bonds at Threadneedles hotel. Surprisingly good grub on the few occasions I've tried it for lunch.

The Mercer (Threadneedle St) or 1 Lombard St always serve me well for a lunch.

Or maybe 3 South Place (Eldon St) which is my current favourite.
