I gather marrowbone is healthful, and happily; cheap to buy.
Short of googling for some sleb's arcane poncy recipe, anything handed down from grandma that's interesting, simple and nutritious?

Brown the bones in the oven on high temp, then sautee some veg, e.g. carrot, celery, onion as a base + whatever root vegetbles you fancy

Add water, the browned bones, tomato paste, mixed herbs or selection of fresh herbs, simmer for 12-24hrs, remove bones and add a touch of red wine reduce down and you got a vitamin rich soup for the cold weather you're having over there :P

Or use them to make stock jelly, which you can just use a teaspoon of and add to gravies and sauces when you make them to fortify the flavour smile
