Avo chaps,

The missus got me a LeCreuset grillit for Christmas - was going to do some steaks in it this weekend. However when I took it out of the box last night, there are two very small chips/marks in the enamel on the top edge. Do you think I'm being fussy to reject this one and ask shop to swap, will the edge get quickly get chipped in normal use anyway?

If there was a blemish/chip on the main enamel surface obviously I'd return so maybe I just should.

cheers

If it was mine I wouldn't worry - then again my LC pots have got a fair few chips around the edges over the years.
I think looking used actually suits them better than being pristine.

They're pretty hardwearing.

My first wife threw a LC frying pan at me once!

Missed my head by inches....

Adds to their rustic French charm - that's what I say to the O/H when she says she wants a new set (about once every 3-4 months).
