Any Swedes about?

Hi folks

I'm at the end of a week long holiday in Sweden and as usual I'm bringing back some recipes from my nan's vast collection.

One of them, includes Ättika 12% and Gurka. Vurka I can figure put as being Gherkins but Ättika is a bit harder. I know it's white vinegar of some type but I can't seem to find the correct type or strength.

Any ideas on what I can use in it's place?
