Controversial opinionated and garrulous. Whats not to like? He lived his life as he wanted to, forged a very successful career and added to the variety of the citizens in the country. His charitable efforts to erect monuments to all Policemen and Policewomen killed in the line of duty including Yvonne Fletcher were to be admired.

I think we are poorer without him. An eccentric Englishmen: we can never have too many of those.
