I was sitting at home dying for a beer, trying not to go out but thought sod it.
I ordered a beer I've had before and liked (obviously), but i don't like it. There's nothing wrong with the beer, I think I just don't like beer anymore yikes

Is this a turning point in my life ?
Has anybody else gone through it ? How did you cope ?

Do i now start drinking white wine spritzers or G&T's. ?

Simon.
Aged 44.
Concerned of Sussex.

May I be the first to suggest that you may have caught "gay" at sometime in the last week.

There's a lot of it going around I hear.

Stick a hosepipe on your exhaust and pop it through your window, it's the only way.

Alternatively,

Try brewing your own? It's cheaper, really quite good fun and you can make one you like the taste of. I've just bottled 50 litres of an Old Speckled Hen clone that I adapted to take away the strong taste of the original. It's fekkin lovely!

I've gone off beer. Much prefer red wine... But that is consistent since about 21...

Hang on.

You were at home, went to the pub, drank one beer decided you didn't like it then came home and started a thread about it?
Or you're still at the pub. Alone. With your iPhone.

Sad.

Very sad.

Welcome to my world buddy! biggrin

And you drive an MX-5.

Beyond saving I'm afraid, euthenasia is probably the kindest option. smile

Yup, have gotten bored with lager. Drink stout and bitters these days and cider on that afternoon of Summer.

I've recently completely gone off lager (pretty much all I would drink in a pub session, before going on to spirits) and now much prefer proper beer. At 27 years old, this is a bit of a revelation and I've been brewing my own beer for the past year smile

What kind of home do you live in where you can order a beer and get one?

Last time I tried that I got told to bugger off and get my own....

Hi,

30 years old - gone off lager.

I could be drinking beer - ales and such - but I'm finding myself erring towards red wine?

Cheers,

Annon.

I've decided I'm going to try and drink through it.
I've ordered a different beer.

I can drink ale, lager, cider depending on how the mood takes me.

I keep getting a bit of heart burn but seems to be worse on ale.

I guess I'm just concerned that one of my favourite hobbies may be coming to the end cry

Please God - spare me my one little pleasure in life.

And fir all you 'Gheyer' callers out there - I've sold the MX5.

Try adding a bit of lemonade to the beer. It tastes much nicer that way.

FFS, are you trying to make things worse for the poor lad.

You'll be suggesting Lime/Blackcurrant next...

Everybody needs a hobby. Before long you'll have completely forgotten what your feet/genitals looked like. smile
