I've tried a few different ones, and they all fail after a while. Now when I buy a new pan I keep it for essential non-stick food, like fish, and use the old one for everything else.
Thats basically what I do to, then you forget about it, it overheats, and you have one more scruffy pan on yer hands

I'd pay a bit more and get a Circulon pan. I've had mine for over 10 years and they are still going strong. Excellent non-stick and great to cook with.
In contrast, my one failed after less than a year of use. I try to treat my pans well and we don't have a dishwasher so wash lightly by hand. It's now just a pain and difficult to use as everything sticks and with the little circle ridges, makes it an absolute nightmare to clean. We bought an Anolon saucepan at the same time and that is still working pretty well and we use that now for most nonstick cooking although making an omelette in it can be pretty tricky!
I'm on a lookout for a new pan too and so will keep an eye on this.
Aldi are doing some on Thursday:

Cheap and cheerful, but the ones we bought a few years ago are still going strong.

Steak and such like, that requires high heat go in the ridged cast iron pan.
