New series on last night which was quite good.
Loved the fact that they did roast pork which is one of my favourite things in the world.
I'd never heard of covering the skin with boiling water to make good crackling. Has anyone tried this? (not that I am doubting the word of <scary Monica voice on> 'Chef Meeeshhelll' <scary Monica voice off>.)
Tom Kerridge was good as well but he really needs to lose some weight or he won't be alive for the second episode.

I seem to remember Jamie Oliver doing it like this followed up with wine or cider vinegar and overnight in the fridge. I found it a bit time consuming myself and just use the olive oil, salt, herbs and bang in a very hot oven method.Loved the fact that they did roast pork which is one of my favourite things in the world.

Does anyone know what the mincing machine used in tonight's show is?
I suspect it was the small one of these http://www.sausagemaking.org/acatalog/Electric_Min...Or a close relative.
Don't think it was actually one of these but for the money...

After some digging and some watching back of the programme, she thinks it's one of these, which she has now purchased.
