Best restaurant near Angel or Highbury and Islington tube

OK im looking for somewhere for a date near either of the two tube stations above so around Upper Street / Essex Road way. Nowhere over fancy but somewhere suitable for a night out with a new woman. Budget not an issue. Suggestions please!

The Almeida is really nice.
Been there a couple of times with my o/h and we loved it.
Not huge amounts of atmosphere but great service and we had some great food!

Haven't been to this place yet but friends have and said it was really good.

Pizzeria Oregano is a really good italian, perfect for a first date imho. (pizzas are really sublime)

Worth booking though as it can get very busy on a friday/saturday evening.

Le Mercury is brilliant, goof=d food and reasonably priced.
