If you had to run a takeaway for a year, which one would you do and why?

I wouldn't. My other half does and he works 70 hours a week and he has very limited quality time.

A reasonably good wage but he still earns less out of the business than he pays in VAT to the government.

Run-of-the-mill Fish'N'Chips I think.

Yes, you will stink of fat - but all the owners I see seem to be doing quite nicely.

You can run your old smoker on the waste produce too.

+ Access to pies and greasy counter girls!!

Chinese. All the crispy duck and hoi sin sauce I could eat. Which is a lot.

Dominos seems to make good money.

Fecking better do when you can buy a nice pizza, in a restaurant, in the centre of Rome, for £6 to a tenner depending on topping. They want £10-£16 and its an average pizza from a takeaway in Croydon!

50's diner type take out: hot dogs, pizza slice, burgers, club sandwhiches, chips, milkshakes,

I'd be on roller skates too!

At least, that's what's missing from my local area.

I'd run the Frankie and Bennie's near me, numerous hot waitresses ftw.

If you get into London much go to Eds Diner exactly this minus the roller skates.
