Is there any pudding you can think of that isn't improved by the addition of custard (hot or cold)?

I can't think of a single one.

No I still think custard is a universal condiment, liver might be a tad pushing it, however I'd give it a go...

Then again I love pickled onions and golden syrup sarnies, classic sweet and sour smile

If you're a custard fan try the trick Heston Bloominheck used on Johnathon Ross's show. Have a few spoonfulls of custard, then roll a tampon around your tounge for a few seconds, the tampon absorbs any moisture and then when you try your next mouthfull of custard it's a pretty intense flavour. Not Iv'e not tried this but Ross was impressed.

Chocolate fondue.

If you can get some custard on a stick, then in the chocolate, then back out and in your gob, you've done well!

I am extraordinarily fond of custard especially the home made variety. However, it does not go well with Eton Mess or other meringue type puddings. Yes I have tried.
