Ebay auction ends soon and this may be a bargain because the seller will not post the item.
These are around £1300 new and they are a superb bit of kit.

I have no connection to the auction

I'm clearly missing something in wondering how that is worth more than my car, car to enlighten me?

It would seem not, I am pretty sure they are more than that though. It's a bit of a secret, seemingly.

Anyhoo, the price has just took a significant leap upwards frown

Seems a stupid way to market a product to me, very hard to find a price (but circa £800 seems a common quote), and most of the reviews seems a bit suspicious. Even after 5min of google you come across quite a few "my friend liked it so much they started selling them".

I think there is very little doubt that anyone who has one absolutely loved it, to be fair to them, but I agree with you about the marketing.

£1,300 for what's effectively a £15 blender and a £15 slow cooker? Plus £5 scales if I'm feeling generous.

Someone (it may not be the OP) is having a laugh.
