Hello, a quick question.
I was at the local pub last night and a lady with us tried their lamb steak. It came and parts were OK but the majority of it was very rare. She asked politely if she could have it cooked more and they kindly offered a new steak and even put a few more chips on the plate. It was now cooked more, but one half of it was still very raw.
Is this normal for lamb steaks, to be very rare, or should you be offered a choice of how you want it to be cooked, like with beef steaks?
Cheers.
