This is my haunt - apologies for not spotting the thread earlier!
That kyashii place closed months ago and it looked terrible anyway, definitely not authentic Japanese.
Around the rest of the immediate St Martin's Lane area there are only 'lunch sushi' places, you know the type; a selection of maki in a plastic container.
Kulu Kulu I've heard many good things but I've never actually dined there myself.

Sorry this has missed your deadline, but this is not only the best sushi in the area, but in my view, the best in London.
