Freezer to microwave pots
Discussion
I am looking for re-usable microwave pots that can be frozen and are about the size of a large take away foil container. I want to be able to freeze portions and then put them straight in the microwave to cook which obviously isnt possible with the foil pots with paper lids. Any suggestions? Everything I see are sets of various sizes where I really want them all to be the same.

Also available from John Lewis, Amazon, Debenhams etc, but don't be tempted by cheap versions as they're mostly rubbish.

They look just the ticket! I guess the 500cc ones are the size you get in most take aways? Agrilla said:

I use those and 2nd that. Plus they don't leak, so you put soup in them and take it to work without having to worry about it leaking in your bag. Also available from John Lewis, Amazon, Debenhams etc, but don't be tempted by cheap versions as they're mostly rubbish.

I've tried the takeaway containers (Asda sell them at something six for £1) but I find they crack in the freezer.
However 'Ziploc' bags (the branded version with the double zipper) work quite well for freezing individual portions of fish / spag bol etc. When you're ready to cook, just open the top, place the bag in a dish and bung in the microwave.
If you're really stingy, you can wash and re-use the bags.
