I seem to have tried most - and like most. But I continue to search out better coffees!

I use an espresso machine - NOT a capsule gadget. Any PH'ers care to recommend any coffee they've found superb?

Best I've had this year is Grumpy Mule Ethiopia Nekisse N2

At a tenner for 250gm, it was a treat. For every day, Hasbean's Finca De Licho has been my regular bean.

Nearly as delicious, but half the price.

If you’re in London Ozone http://www.ozonecoffee.co.uk/ do some nice stuff, but they don’t do mail order. Their espresso blend is my day to day choice at the moment - £18 /kg.

PH has its very own pet roaster:

www.smokeybarn.co.uk aka cqueen

I've had some truly superb stuff from him!

+1 for this. Hasbean are great. They always have a well curated selection and postage is really quick too.

I've never found anything at home to beat Illy.

Another thumbs up from me - I've been on their subscription for just over a year (random 250g sachet of beans every week), and they've all been excellent - top stuff!

Thanks for the tips.... I shall go through them all.

I started my espresso drinking with Illy, and it's excellent, but I want to try more.... I've been through a lot of Ecuadorean coffee (very nice) and am currently trying some Vietnamese stuff, which I really like.

The advantage with a proper machine, is that you can try all sorts of wild stuff - and quite cheaply too.

I think I've had some coffee from Hasbean - I shall revisit.
