Stick Blenders

Wasn't sure where to post this, hopefully here is OK as it's sort of food related. I'm sure someone will move it if it's not appropriate.

I've been wanting to buy a Stick Blender for a few months and I notice that John Lewis are now doing the Kitchen Aid ones.

Has anyone got any experience of these e.g Are they any good, would you buy again etc.....
