What toasted sandwich maker should I buy?

Anyone got one? Really do not want to spend more than £25 but I guess I could stretch to £30, but I'm not sure which one to go for. Any recommendations?

Title is meant to say 'toasted'...

Just go to your local supermarket - less than a tenner, or argos have one at the mo for £4.54. No point spending any more cos it will live in the cupboard once the novelty wears off.

From previous threads they are also a right st to clean. Treat as non-stick: buy cheap and often.

Since our ancient sandwich maker gave up the ghost I've just used the George Foreman grill to do them. Works a treat, especially nice for paninis.

I wanted a toastie the other day, but decided a panini press is better for it. You're not stuck with just bread, but can use baugettes/rolls etc. They are also eatable straight out the machine and don't warm them up to molten lava temps.
