BBQ/Outside grill etc- £500 to spend- Help please

Morning,

Yes, it's not a BBQ unless it uses charcoal and fire etc etc. So let's call it an outside gas grill.

I have around £500 to spend on one, would like 3 or 4 burners, hooded.

Obviously Weber seem to get the best reviews, but i was also looking at Napoleon or Billy-Oh- does anyone have experience of these? I have ruled out Outback as a few people have said that they rot quickly, is that correct?

Any help greatly appreciated.

I bought a Spirit E320 a couple of years ago and have never looked back! I still have a one touch which I use for smoking, but for everyday grilling gas all the way for me.

Weber have changed the line up for 2013, so you could grab a bargain if your not fussed about last years model.

We just got a swiss grill from costco to replace an ageing outback. Pretty impressed so far

Weber Spirit range is great. Mine is 6 years old and still going strong.

I'm a big fan of CADAC braais and my F-i-L has had his CADAC gas trolley braai for about 10 years, and it lives outside under a cover.

We have a zurich 360, it was on offer at 420 quid inc vat. Looks like marks n sparks do them too but are out of stock.

Last question. Are they pretty solid? Ie. when you take the good up do the hinges feel solid or does it flex from side to side? Reason I ask is that I want one that feels well built not flimsy, and unfortunately there are no stockists of the Swiss Grill around here for me to go and touch them

The hood is double skinned and feels very sturdy. Overall it seems well made and thought out.
