Recommend me a good wedding cake maker London/Home Counties

Looks like a bit of a minefield with the 100s of site out there. Anyone got some good experiences?

Choccywoccydoodah in Brighton is outstanding. They can make anything out of cake. Won't be cheap though.

We used cakesbyjackie.co.uk, for ours, very good, and based in Borehamwood.

Best to make an appointment as i found her website a bit lacking.

Depends what you want.
We actually used M&S, tasted fine and was relatively cheap compared to some of the specialists. Seriously, this is one of the things you can cut corners on and no-one will care (unless you have very specific requirements).

We did the same. Basic white cake and got the florist to put some flowers around it on the day. Unless you have very specific ideas on what you want, you can definitely get away with spending less here.
