Anyone been to one of these before? Doesn't seem too cheap. Worth a visit?

Nope. I paid 200 quid for two so-called 'vip' tickets. Not much vip about it.

Didn't get much food for your money, extra credits were loadsamoney, everything was as crowded as fk, and the event was mostly attended by rich tarts with loud annoying laughs.

The only people who seemed to be having a good time were the free-loaders in the British Airways tent fuelling up on free booze.

I left with the impression that someone was making an awful lot of money from me, for not much in return...

I got two free tickets, which are supposedly £20 each or so....don't include any food. Went once before, cost a fortune and I left hungry. Would much rather go to a decent restaurant for dinner anyday...I'll go , walk around, leave and spend my cash elsewhere.

The first one or two were good - £3/£5 taster dishes from many of London's biggest chefs was an interesting opportunity for a foodie who couldn't hope to eat at them all. I think the organisers quickly got greedy and the numbers grew. I haven't been for a few years because it got so busy the queues became a chore. The whole currency system grates too. They really don't do much to disguise the fleecing.
