It seems the Yanks have "invented" a new pastry that is driving the New Yorkers crazy, some poeple even paying $3000 for 10 of the delightful morsels. That is delivered though!
As the name suggests it's a doughnut and a croissant hybrid.
I must say it looks yummy!
"Recipe to success: The cronut is made from thin layers of flaky croissant dough that are deep fried, rolled in rose sugar, and then filled with light Tahitian vanilla cream"

Wasn't this on Sunday Brunch yesterday?
Possibly. I'm sure they will be over here soon.
I doubt that deli has a patent on the design.
Linky worky?
Or linky wonky?
Fauxnuts.
It seems the name has a patent.
The frenzy for these products reminds of the rediculousness of fads, much like Cabbage Patch kids and Buzz Lightyear dolls. People were fighting eachother for them!
Obviously you can't eat them but you get my point.
(I did try to eat my Buzz which is why I went into hospital.)
