Now summer is finally here i have the urge for a lovely ploughmans lunch with a pint.

When we went camping years ago we always used to try them in the country pubs and seem to recall a nice one in Priddy, Somerset.

Not wanting to travel far, where is the best ploughmans lunch in the West Midlands/Warwickshire area.

Has to include a selection of different cheeses, warm crusty bread, pickles and a cool beer all served in a nice garden,

Hungry already,

Martyn......

I reckon for a really good one you will have to make your own.

Years ago I had a summer of good ploughmans' at the Navigation in Wooten wawen between Henley in Arden and Stratford. Good pub on the banks of the canal.

Failing that the Bulls Head in the same town. was pretty good too.

I love a Ploughmans.

When you come back to Somerset go to the Castle of Comfort on top of the Mendips.

Random fact ahoy, but the Ploughmans Lunch is a comparatively (1960s?) invention of the Cheese Council to sell cheese.
