Much the same as everyday, I have just finished my lunch at my desk.

Being an exciting chap I have had one of approx. 5 different sandwiches I usually choose from, accompanied always however, by a packet of ready salted Walkers crisps.

Usually amongst a standard packet you will find one or two of those retched little burnt b*ggers which do nothing for me other than to leave a particularly nasty after taste.

One or two, I can live with.. However this week I had noticed an alarmingly increased No. of burnt crisps!!

Today, I was left with this.

I must say I was not amused. The problems one has to deal with!

Didn't realise that...

No, just the sheer volume of burnt crisps!

If this continues I shall do nothing about it, just wondered if they had quality control? Someone inspecting every single bag.

Potato's are in short supply due to the bad weather. Walkers promote using British potato's so they have to buy what's available. Bad time for potato's.

£13.00 a sack compared to £5 last year for your average joe.

Yes.

He opens each bag and uses heat to seal it again.

Occasionally the heat burns crisps.

Oh hey mate, they are indeed scanky crisps....I'd be posting them onto the Internet and complaining....

Oh wait...

Right if we can now only get this thread to the top of Google, that'll be your crisps for life smile

I've got a bag of Walkers roast chicken on my desk, I may take pictures when I decide to open them later this afternoon.

Only if there is a minor imperfection that's not worth showing us, please.

Most sweets companys are making packets smaller to make more money maybe thats what they are doing - just letting them pass by instead of filtering them out.

Sent it back to them you may get a box of goodies/vouchers.

I think everyone's taking this very lightly.

Mr Ben are you OK?

Have you got any family or friends nearby who you can contact for support?

If not you might find some help here:
