Tried in holidays and got no responses...

Soooo - does anyone have any recommendations of places to visit in the home of the best white wine please?

It was a bout 9 years ago, but I really enjoyed visiting these guys: Domaine Taille aux Loups.

to be honest the whole sancerre / vouvray bit of the Loire is stunning and full of tasty drops. Angers to Orleans is just magic.

'Wine behind the label' is a good book to get.

This was very useful for travelling in Burgundy (my favourite region). Rock up at the cave and ask if they do tastings - many will, although opening hours can be somewhat of a mystery.

Thanks - our house is near the Vouvray vineyards and we have a tame supplier there already - time to go out a bit further!

Will have a look at Loups smile

will dig out the details of a place we visited quite a few years ago - found some amazing red sancerre there which is well worth trying.
