Is it safe to reheat cooked chicken in a microwave as long a it is stored in a fridge? Jst that my wife works shifts and would like something more interesting than sandwiches for lunch, so i thought about cooking some chicken that she could mix with rice and a Chinese sauce smile

Cheers!

It's fine, just getting it piping hot as usual. It's more important to make sure that when you DO put it in the fridge in the first place, that its cool down to room temp before chucking it into the fridge. never put warm food in the fridge.

She'll probably have to be more careful reheating the rice than the chicken.

Only because it will raise the temp of the fridge
